So, you're pregnant for the first time and you’re looking into educational resources. There’s classes offered at the hospital you plan to birth at, there are 30 people enrolled and you're overwhelmed. Maybe you're a veteran parent and your facility childbirth education wasn't personalized enough the first time around. Maybe you're the partner or support person of a pregnant person, wondering how you can best support them and Google has too much information. Or maybe, you and your best friend are pregnant at the same time and want to take a childbirth education class together.

Sometimes circumstances disallow a family from being able to take in-person, facility-based childbirth education classes including scheduling conflicts, personal desires, bed-rest, location, etc. At Birth and Beyond, we believe that no situation, circumstance, or personal preference should prevent a family from being educated on pregnancy, childbirth, and the arrival of their newborn. The world of childbirth education is changing, and we are staying head of the curve with our private childbirth education classes. No two births are the same, no two babies are the same, and the most powerful thing about educating yourself is knowing what your options are!

Birth and Beyond offers several classes including: Early Pregnancy Planning, Childbirth Education, All Things Postpartum & Baby, Childbirth Refresher, and VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) Tips, Tricks, & Toolkit. Most of our classes are offered in groups virtually, however, some have an in-person option where a childbirth educator teaches 1:1 in your home. We want you to leave your class feeling confident in knowing all there is to know!

Our philosophy for education focuses on providing evidence-based information to reframe the childbirth mindset and experience. In modern-day society, we rely on Hollywood and Dr. Google for "facts", which produces a significant amount of fear surrounding childbirth.

To learn more about our innovative education options or to schedule outside of the times available, contact us via email at briana@birthandbeyonddoulas.com.

We also offer 1:1 classes for folks who have given birth before and would like a childbirth refresher and for families who have had a prior cesarean birth and are looking to have a vaginal birth. Check out those options below:
